This course is perfect for motor vehicle enthusiasts. If repairing cars is one of your hobbies than this can be the right course for you. The automotive technology keeps changing from every year. This course will train you to diagnose and repair all light motor vehicles including cars, four-wheel drives, and SUVs, by using most recent automotive technology methods and equipment. While learning will also be visiting automotive workshop operating in real world and will be performing as an independent mechanic during practical training.

The Certificate III will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to perform advanced diagnostic operations in the automotive retail, service and repair environment. Students will learn how to diagnose complex faults in light vehicle petrol engines, electronic spark ignition engine management systems and braking systems. Students undertaking this role will primarily service and repair the mechanical parts of motor vehicles such as the engine, transmission (clutch, gear box and differential) and the suspension systems (springs, steering, brakes, wheels and tyres). It will provide employment opportunities in the automotive industry as a mechanic.
